Next up. June 4th our 17th Annual Invitational sponsored by Irving PAGA. It's still not too late to volunteer. We still need help. Call Danny Reyes @ 469-682-4461 or Anita Avila @ 214-668-0109. Click on their names to open your email client with their email address's. The tournament is on Sunday and a 8 am shotgun start. For the volunteers that are helping check with your contact for times to be there.

UPDATE!
Thanks to those that have helped round up sponsors for the invitational this coming June 4th. Just one week away. For those that are still thinking about sponsoring a hole. Email me here (Don Nixon) with the details of what you would like on the sign. For potential corporate sponsors after Wednesday if I don't have a business card, you will have to settle for just name, phone # and address on the sign. I will not be taking anymore information after Thursday June 1st. Were on the last lap. Let's push a little harder. We can make it happen. We are still short of what we need for ALL of the holes.

We are soliciting hole sponsors for our Invitational come June 4th. Individuals can get their name or names on a hole for 50.00. And if you want your company's name on a hole it is 100.00. DEADLINE is May 29th. Get those to us as soon as possible. For all hole sponsors and if your going to play in the invitational send all inquiries to Don Nixon @ dwnixon@irving-paga.org or here.

We need some help for the Invitational. Don't wait for that call. Please Call Danny Reyes or Anita Avila for information and how to volunteer.

Mesquite Tournament

Mesquite Municpal tournament this sunday May 28th at 11am. Call Danny: 469-682-4461 or Tony V. @ 214 361-0986. For those of you in town this weekend. Please come out and play. For those that are traveling this weekend. Have a safe trip. And to all of the folks in the Irving Chapter have a great and safe Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Meet our new Secretary

At the meeting on May 16th Trino Palma was voted in as the new Secretary. The board and members welcome him to his new position. He has been with the Irving chapter for a couple years now. Trino accepted the post and offered this comment " I want to give it 100 percent". We look forward to Trino Palma's success in our association.

Meeting Update!

We had some new faces at the meeting. Thanks for coming. Thanks to Danny Reyes the Irving Chapter now has a meeting place we can call home until Dec of 07. This will take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be June 20th, at 7pm.

In the meeting we covered some old business and some very important issues on the upcoming Irving Invitational. One of the topics of concern is "volunteers". We are going to need some help. For registering the golfers, scoring and putting out the signs on the hole sponsors. If you want to be a hole sponsor they are $50 and $100. Check with Anita if you have questions. We need sponsors. So, pitch in and help out.

We will be forwarding any important information to you thru email. If you have not been receiving any of our previous emails. Select the contact form (put your cursor over "Home" ) on this site and send us your email address.

Meeting Reminder!

To all members. We have a meeting coming up Tuesday, May 16th @ 7pm. At the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts, 2000 W. Airport Frwy, Irving. Please be there. We're anxious to see you. And we have a lot of business to take care of. Old and new. Including the final preparations for our Invitational on June 4th.

Notice some changes?

I have made some changes to our website. As you can see it's a different theme. Kinda like "spring cleaning". Or some fresh paint. Or just simply a time for a change. One thing to keep in mind. As you place your cursor over a menu in the horizontal navigation bar. You'll notice sub menu shows up underneath the main item. Just choose the one you want and click on it. Have fun!
